Duall dry scrubbers
are recommended for applications involving removal of aerosol mists
in situations where minimum water usage is paramount.
Unlike our
other packed bed scrubbers, our dry scrubbers do not rely on water
wash of the media during normal operation. Entrained droplets are
extracted from the air stream and the collected liquid may be returned
to the process tanks.
Periodic washdown
of the media is required to maintain removal efficiency and prevent
fouling. It may be possible to return this liquid to the process
tanks, thus making zero discharge a reality.
