Exhaust
hoods can normally draw up to 30" away. If exhaust hoods
can not be designed to adequately capture fumes from the tanks,
a push air system may be the solution. The push air system
enhances the operation of a typical exhaust ventilation system
by literally pushing the air to within the reach of the exhaust
hood. In addition, the push-pull system:
- reduces
exhaust volume by up to 50%; reducing the cost of the exhaust
system
|
- reduces
heating and cooling costs
- captures
drag-out fumes
- improves
worker safety by keeping fumes awayfrom workers
Dualls
unique system is based on low volume/high pressure design.
The push air volume is only about 1 to 3% of the exhaust air
volume. Because of the low volume of push air required, the
push pipe hoods (headers) are smaller and less apt to be in
the operators way.
